gas filler mod

[Questions]

Can anyone tell me where to find the thread for modifying the seat so I don't have to raise the seat to fill up with gas? I have seen it before but I can't seem to find it now. Been searching for three days.

I found the smallest round door they sell on Amazon, it was painted black but I took matching vinyl glued it on so it matches the seat. It is ready to go but I still need to install. It came out great I must say. It has a lock which serves double duty as a way to pull the door open when closed (using the key as a temporary pull point).

But it seems to me that you'd surely have to get off the seat to re-fuel with THAT setup... :joke:
