• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cal Sci windshield fog

I just recieved and installed an XL Cal Sci windshield on my 2012 RT -- took it out for a spin -- I noticed the windshield seemed to have a slight blue fog -- contacted Cal Sci -- spoke to Mark -- asked him if this was normal -- then I mentioned it was 27 degrees out on the road test -- Mark stated this will happen to the windshield until the ambient temp gets to around 40 degrees -- anyone else have this problem? -- on a side bar -- the new windshield REALLY made a difference -- was going 55 mph into a 25 mph wind -- no low pressure area at all -- very impressed!

I road 2011 RS-S in temps under 32 deg. F. and the Cal Sci windshield stayed clear. Mine got cracks on the upper inside edge due to vibrations of the windshield at highway speeds. I use Meguiar's Plastx (got it at Walmart) to clean and polish my windshield. Good luck.

fog

Mark did mention that product -- also -- I didnt see this problem when I unpacked the windshield -- the blue tint fog is throughout the windshield and you can even see it on the thick edge of the windshield so whatever it is -- its in the material -- will wait till warmer weather and see!! -- thanks
