• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2012 RT Cat-Bypass

any muffler shop with a bender

For the RT if you don't have a fixture to build them in you will never get them to fit. Ask Doc Riverside about the two he tried and never could get them to seal or line up properly.

Here's what a fixture looks like... it holds everything in proper alignment to match the OEM Cat.

Hey John

Your right about the jig I've been to 2 good muffler shops and they said the same thing and would not attempt to build one. Where in you picture is that one being built? Will they build more for a reasonable price? Thanks for the info.

That on is the one I built and it is pictured on one of my work benches. I was wondering about the demand for a well built bypass and if it would pay for the tooling to do it right?

Will this help the heat problems since the Cat by my foot will be cold?

WIll the engine actually run cooler??

I understand less resistance is always good.

I pulled the CAT on my 2010, & it was the 2nd best mod I did on my Spyder - probably why I couldn't notice the performance difference between it & the '14s.

I'd be interested in one also.

I better get cracking... seems most of the folks that called me today agree on two things, fair price and proper fit are the top most important features of a cat bypass. Dang phone rang off the hook all morning... I even had two at the same time on the phone and all this while I'm trying to port my cell number from ATT to Verzion. A busy morning for sure.

Cat By-Pass

I would love to have one for my 2012 R/T limited. I'm sure you could sell everyone you make here on the forum.
