• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

laser alignment

On spydercomfort.com also check the "independent" link of dealers, as well as the state dealer list. You have a NY independent as well if you'd rather not have this done by a BRP dealer.

I've been curious. What all is checked during an alignment on these Spyders, the three settings?

To sum it up in lay mans terms, your belt needs to be tracking correctly, then your front wheels are made to run true in line with rear wheel. Finally the correct amount of toe is set. This is drastically simplified but covers the bases.

I've aligned Race cars, 18 wheelers and ever RC touring cars. Are there any changes to the caster or camber? Or just drive belt and toe?

Drive belt alignment isn't included in most alignment pricing, but needs to be correct before the laser alignment is done. Toe in/out and relation to the rear wheel alignment is the only adjustment readily available to the spyder front end.

Cool thanks! My 2013 RSS tracks ok, just darts around on a little on these great South Carolina roads. Most roads have wear/crown in the middle.

Just an FYI I thought our 2010 RT was good, had 27000 miles on front tires and no uneven wear when changed out. The alignment made it track better. Others have had the same results.
