• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ice Storm near SC coast

Thawing out here. Including the satellite dish. Back yard looks like a partially frozen pond. Birds emptied the feeders again. I know this is storm is serious but here's a bit of humor. Hope no one is offended. If so, I'll pull it.

Hope all is well for those in the nasty ice ad snow storms.......good luck to you.

Be safe and hope all goes well for you during these nasty winter storms......

In Minnesnowta, we have PMS a lot, you probably will experience this as well:

Classic. In a few hours it will be like nothing happened ( besides 50k who have power out from fallen trees) it is warming on the coast. Inland still bad not as bad a Atlanta BUT STILL BAD. I won't need a Gatorade bottle. :roflblack:

And now you've had an earthquake??? :yikes:
What's next: a plague of locusts? :dontknow:

:dontknow: But you know Charleston had a big one in 1886. It could be worse. Wind is blowing today and power is still flickering. Lots of people inland still do not have power and the weakened trees that did not fall probably will today. That is a better way than a wildfire to cull them (we had a big one near me a few years back). They are saying the damage done by this storm is as bad a Hurricane Hugo tree wise. The price we pay for where we live.

Dave, you're right about the wind. It's blowing hard up here too and raining. Heard about the earthquake. News this morning said it was felt all the way to Atlanta.
