• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Going to hospital early tomorrow FEb 10 for my brand new right knee and shall be there ten days which seven of those days shall be in rehab learning how to walk again with the new knee .

Have to stay off of spyder for at least two months and then boy o boy watch out .

Best wishes for a successful surgery and recovery. You're gonna love the new hinge. Work your butt off at PT and exercising at home, and you'll be back in the saddle in no time.

5 years on my new knee

You will be glad yup did it. Had a heck of a time convincing doctor to do it when i was 60. They wanted to wait for another 5 years. Glad we didn't. You won't either.

I had a new knee put in last Aug. I was off my Spyder about 5 wks. As soon as I could step up on my Floorboards and have my knee support my weight for a second, I was back of the road. Good luck, it's not a fun operation OR recovery. DO YOUR THERAPY RELIGIOUSLY and you will be fine.:lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie:

Join the crowd. Getting total left knee replacement March 31. Only one to two days in hospital with in home therapy.

Best wishes. I'm sure everything will go well and I hope you are back in the saddle soon. I know what it's like to be out of action for an extended time. So stay positive and use getting back in the saddle as motivation! Best of luck.

Good luck on your surgery and recovery. My Dad had both knees done (not at the same time) and his advise is - EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE. The more work you can give the new knee, the sooner you will be back on your Spyder again...

New Knee

Congratulations on your new knee. I just had my right one replaced 23 Jan 2014. Doing the rehab thing now. You will be surprised how fast you will be able to get back on your Spyder. Im riding already (don't tell my wife). Just make sure you do the Physical Therapy exercise they give you. The most difficult part will be sleeping with your leg elevated and straight. Good luck, hang in there and welcome to the club. 2011 RT-S
