• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I registered on the non-Facebook site that FlamingoBabe posted. Got my reservations at the Travelodge days ago for just over $35 a night. I'm looking to be there June 24-29 to do some other fun stuff off the beaten path.
Just need a bed, towels, hot shower and out of the weather.

Durango Event Agenda??

I am in......has anyone seen an agenda for this event? I will be looking for a campground soon....need to burn some gas in the motorhome. Also, do you receive any response on the registration or just show up in Durango?:dontknow:

What happens at this event ? Is it just a BRP dog and pony show ?
No dogs, just ponies.

It is a very nice event that BRP puts on for the owners. They will probably have their demo truck there but there is no pressure to buy anything. I don't remember if they had an all product tent last year but I know they did a few years ago. There are no registered vendors though some will be there "off site". They will host a dinner that has been first class especially for the number of people that go. There will be some scheduled rides that in the past have been to nice areas. It's still a group ride that some like and some don't :dontknow:
I've been to 4 of them and enjoyed them all. Some more than others but in no case have I felt like it was a "dog and pony show". There is no charge for any of the events and BRP has even given those that registered a gas card. $35 last year.

Plus it's always nice to see people you don't get to see but once or twice a year.

I'm in. Chicago to Durango to Phoenix and back to Chicago. Taking the opportunity to help celebrate my dad's 90th birthday in Phoenix after the event.

The Alpenrose north of Durango and KOA just south of Durango. There might still be one open up Lightener Crk.

A couple of years ago, when it was in Durango, there were a bunch of scenic rides, lunches at the fairgrounds and a nice dinner outside of town, all courtesy of BRP. The local dealer, Fun Center, had a 'booth' inside the fairgrounds, BRP had mechanics and there were some different vendors, such as Spyderpops. I thought it was well presented, still some things that could be improved upon, but nice.
