• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Best Warranty

Will you still be getting the roadside assistance that normally comes with the Best Warranty? Just something to ask the dealer.

I don't know, but I guess I will find out just what it covers when I get a printout from the Service Mgr. at the dealership. This must be unique to Florida.

Looks like he's right..but in the end I think you will be the same. See the fine print here:

They exclude Florida from the extra 2 years of BEST, but give you a BRP factory warranty extension instead. Also, if you look here (http://can-am.brp.com/spyder/owners/best-extended-service.html) you'll see there is a different BEST brochure for Florida..and it appears that BRP must sub out that warranty service to an insurance company for Florida.

In the end you still have a 4-year warranty. Just maybe not roadside but that's not a big deal.

Thanks for the above information and links. I did not secure an extended warranty for my 2013 Spyder, so I had no idea how the 4 year warranty worked on my new 2014. Now I know. Thanks again for the information.
