finally a spyder owner

I purchased a new 2014 rss se5 red and black model I like the gloss finish on the spyder the yellow and the white are satin finish they look nice too but I prefer the shine
I wanted the sm5 standed shift model but they said it will not be made till april did not want to wait till then they had the red and black in stock I sold my 99 busa
It was a great bike It had 265hp to back wheel with a 85 shot of juice ran 9.6 150mph my wife said it was time to sell it you are getting to old for it I am only 73 years young I guess the spyder will be a little slower best I did was 20,444 out the door

Enjoy your ride

Anytime I was at the speed you are talking about - I was at cruise altitude pulling the throttles back to cruise. But that's just me. Oh -- only 78 here (me, not the temp -- temp about 67 and just back from a Spyder ride to town and back - at a somewhat more relaxed speed.

Only the 2014 rts get the new se6 and the 3 cylinder rs still 2 cylinder

2014 RT's only have the new engine configuration. RS, RSS, and ST still have the two cylinder/5 speed.
