• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GIVI Bags Installation

Well, I took a deep breath and plunged into it. And....it all fits and works. Only one small scratch near the signal light (new position). I can truthfully say that it wasn't that hard, just took about 4 hours of actual hands on time. I just added all the little pieces to the brackets before I started. Then all I had to do was move the signal lights and bolt it all together.:2thumbs: Now does anyone have an easy fix to adjust the mono shock to adjust for the extra weight???:sour:

Only way to adjust the rear shock is by doing it just like the owners manual tells you. Chock the front wheels, jack up the rear, and use a ratchet with an extension to adjust the shock. Spray some lube on the shock before you adjust it, it turns a whole lot easier with the lube.

And, make sure the 3/8" extension is not the "wobble" type or you will bugger up the square hole as I did.

You too? :D Mine started to round out the adjusting hole but I managed to get the rear shock adjusted where I wanted (all the way up) it before the hole became unusable. That wobble extension was the only one I had long enough to reach.

Yepper... good thing it has two holes.

How long does the extension need to be, 6" 8"" 10"?

I'm not sure the Givi would work with the 2 brothers dual setup. You'll probably want to get a good look at a Spyder that has the Givi bags on them.

I will take some pics tomorrow. Will take some close-ups of what I wish I could have seen on installed GIVI bags. Right side bags sits about 1" or so above tha muffler. Industries 7 has a very strong bracket set. Very strong, well constructed, good welds and paint. You will see this, hopefully tomorrow night.
