There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. OEM floorboards and oversized brake pedals...

...Do they play well together, or not? :dontknow:
I had one of TricLEDS oversized brake pedals on my 2010 RT and loved it.
Now that I've got a 2014 on the way; will I be able to put one of those pedals on my new bike too?

Yes they do!

I put one on my 2013 RT Limited at Spyderfest 2013 and it works fine. With my big feet, I needed something bigger to press on.

Yea But

Copperman did not answer your question he said 2010 thru 2013. Although I. Lean towards his response as I see no reason to reinvent the brake pedal pad.

Bd when are you going to take delivery of the new Ryde?

I also use the oversized brake pedal, and as best i can tell it will work on our new Spyders Bob. I kept my old one and cleaned it up for my new Ryde.

Good to know...
I left mine on; I figured that the new owner might just appreciate having it. ;)

I see there is no spacer included with the pedal to raise it up for models with floor boards. My concern is that the oversized pedal will bottom out on the floor board if the pedal gets soft before triggering the floorboard safety release mechanism.

So has someone ever tested to see if the floor board will drop out of the way if the pedal travel if farther than normal?

Mine came with the spacer and works great with my Seal DLX boards. Plenty of clearance I see no reason it shouldn't work with the spacer.

Seal floorboards include a metal spacer for the brake pedal that works great.

The point I was trying to make was about factory floor boards with the Tric LED oversized brake pedal. Aftermarket floor boards do not have a release mechanism to drop the floorboards. They come with a spacer to give you the travel needed. The Tric LED oversized pedal does not have a spacer as far as I can tell from the web site.

So no one has answered my question yet. Will the safety release mechanism on the OEM floorboards release in the event of partial brake failure, with the TRI LED brake pedal?
