• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Experience with Birmingham, AL Dealer?

I hope to be ordering my SE5 Spyder by mid to late Spring this year. Anyone have any experience with Big #1 Motorsports in Birmingham? Good or Bad? Just trying to get some Public Opinion before committing to dealing with them. Thanks!

That dealer name sounds familiar but I couldn't find a specific thread that talked about it. I guess we'll have to wait until someone with actual experience with them chimes in. :D In any case, Welcome to Spyderlovers.

I don't know much about that dealer. All I know personally about is Pensacola Motor Sports(pensacola, Florida) and Gulf Shores Power Sports (Gulf Shores, Alabama).
welcome

Big#1 in B'ham

We bought our spyder at big#1 in homewood, the sales man was Michel and also Jamie also was there to help out. It was a long day waiting for credit to be approved but I guess it was worth it we got 7.39 for five years so I was ok with that. In sales a girl by the name Heather I try to always ask for her, they all work on commission so like I asked about how much was a quart of oil 13.95 a quart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the filter was somthing outrageous to so I got online and there is a dealer north of B'ham called motorcyclesupperstore.com and I talked to Bill in parts if you order online you can get the same brp oil for 8.05 a quart! so I called heather and sent her back the email that Bill sent me and she mached it in everthing! I hope this will help you in the feature.also I talked to Zach and Jeff in parts to.If I can help you in any way you can call me at (205)337-7882 good luck....Steve:congrats:

My husband and I purchased our SE-5 Spyders at The Sport Center in Cullman, AL. We have been very happy with our Spyders and the customer service that we have received.

Are you talking about http://www.motorsportssuperstore.com/ in Hamilton Alabama? That's good to know since they are close to me and it probably will be where I buy my spyder in April.

BTW does any one know if there will be a spyderlovers.com ride this fall like the ride last year? I sure would like to get my vacation time set if there is a date.
