I am only 5 hours (4 if i hurry) away from Pitbull Powersports in MO. If they call i can be there before they finish building it.

When I spoke with the salesman who is helping me with my purchase, I believe he told me that I was at the top of the list for 2014 RT-S. He did say that the one before me was for a 2014 RT Limited.

So for now I am going to attempt to just wait to hear from CFPS about the Spyder. opcorn:opcorn: :bbq::bbq: and of course a bit of ray:ray: won't hurt either.

Ran into the BRP southeast sales manager at Daytona Fun Machines this AM. He says the RT's will start shipping by the end of this week. I thanked him for my 2 1/2 month wait, since putting down a deposit. He said be patient! LOL! Anyway something should happen in the next couple of weeks. He indicated that some of the first RT's in the US, should be down south. Hope so; wasting the nice 80 degree weather waiting! :yes::yes::yes:[/QOUTE]

I am with you on missing the good riding weather in fact I am out the door to fix that problem right now it is 78 degrees out.

I guess my question is why did you leave your "11" with the dealer? All you had to do to was put down a $1,000.00 deposit. That would have "sealed the deal", and you could have kept riding.

I left mine with the dealer back in September... :shocked:
Several reasons:
It gave them a chance to try and sell the bike before Winter arrived...
Since I was trading it in; I didn't want "Murphy's Law" to bite me on the bottom...
It also made it easier to resist adding more farkles to it!

I left my 13 with the dealer in early October, expecting a Mid October Delivery, Well that did not happen, then my dealer sold my 13, so i could not even go back and get it............. But i am now dealing with my dealer on a cash (no trade) situation which will put me in a better bargaining position.

Winter Wait

It's probably just as well for me to wait until Springtime as the weather here in Beautiful Northwestern Ohio is bitterly cold right now at 5 above zero. My dealer should have at least one 2014 RT model in his showroom by April when I can take a demo ride on it.
