• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brrrr OK.... its too cold for a ryde today and for the next few as well. Been below freezing since Wednesday here and wont break the freezing mark till next wednesday. It is 6 with a wind chill of -10 at the moment, snow moving in later today.

It is a good reason to work on some farkles and mods. Pic below shows the item on the spyder (well on the seat anyways!). Tric led LED rear top brake light, Smooth spyder belt tensioner/guard, and the Kewlmetal air intake parts.

Purple guy, I don't know how your blood keeps from freezing up there! We get colder than 6F here but around -15F is as bad as it gets air temp in KS.

(Note to self, dont move to Edmonton :-) )

If I wasn't born here I wouldn't move here either!
Only 5 more months of winter!!!

Right now the outdoor door thermomanter ds

Bright & Sunny Here in Northwest Ohio

But only 27 degrees, well below my comfort level!! It quits being comfortable in the mid 40s for me. That's no heated clothing or handgrips or seats, none of which I ever have had.

I just came back from a grocery run. It is 40F here in South Texas and I think that's my lower limit unless I buy more cold weather gear. It was tolerable but just with long johns, jeans and a long sleeve shirt, a leather/mesh riding jacket WITH the liner in and my full face modular. Also the gloves with the fingers (hate that I can't get the helmet on and off with them on).

At 6 degrees I would be surrounded by dogs and waiting for the TV to tell me it was up to at least 35.

My theory: your body is like 90% water, right? Water freezes at 32F and boils at 212. Therefore, don't live where it goes below 32 or above 212. It gets hot in Houston, but it hasn't hit 212 yet.

Here (Chugiak, Alaska) its a balmy 35 degrees above zero. Everything is ice covered, ice fog this morning, and the trees all look like winter wonderland. I am going to enjoy the view, but no :spyder2: rydes today. :roflblack:

According to my windoze weather gadget it's 25F here. Too cold to ride and too much salt on the roads. Looks to stay that way all next week.

Ride, if you can and ride safe,
Curt

I am planning on riding tonight to work. Grave yard SE Houston. I don't mind the cool weather. Of course I only have 3 miles togo. It take me as long to ride to work as to get dressed to ride. ....................

If I was stuck indoors; I'd settle for a sense of humor...
but I'd REALLY want Cable TV with about a jillion channels, and nobody to tell me what I couldn't watch! :D
"Die hard" marathon; anyone?
