• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need a laugh? Holiday parade spoof

Every year a friend of mine gets handed the task of filming a parade in his inlaws' hometown. Every year it's been the same straight, boring video. So this year Tony decided to do a spoof of parade coverage. He and his wife do a great play-by-play of the entries like they do on the Macy's Thanksgiving parade.

It's really well done and hilarious in places.

Thanks Faran for the great parade video. That captured the small town holiday spirit for sure.:thumbup:

Try this...

My favorite line "Let’s not forget that today's Parade Network coverage is brought to you by WalMart - Walmart encourages you to shop local first. While you still can." :roflblack:

 :2thumbs:
Spoof or not; it was great to watch another Small-Town Parade!

(Come to our Giant Pumpkin Parade the First Saturday in October if you want to see Tractors and Town Trucks perform...)

That was good. I needed that today. Thanks Faran. Loved the sewer vac and the comment about the rest home.

That was GREAT! when I was young, there were around 300 folks in and around town. Our 4th of July Parade was a big deal! Almost everyone in town was in it... not many spectators....

My friends that moved out here from San Diego go to that every year :doorag::thumbup:

Funny you say that. Every time I mention Mule Days to someone, they know people that go there!

I'v ridden through your town. I think. :dontknow: Yes I think it was. 4 blocks big right?

And a traffic light. That is actually pretty big! I've seen towns that if you blink, you missed it.

Laughed out loud at that one, too. :D I sure needed a good belly laugh on Monday, too!
