Was on my way to the weekly coffee and donut klatch at the local Cam-Am dealership that is held on Saturday mornings. Got in the Spyder's start mode and got a big orange warning screen "Check DPS." Started it up stiff steering for sure. oK I was going there for coffee any way!
Spyder steered quite firmly I will say that. For sure quite firms. Five minutes after I shut it down it was on the way to the service bay. Fifteen minutes later, it was confirmed the DPS Sensor had barfed. Thirty minutes later it was confirmed their Parts Dept did not have one of the $380 sensors but one was available from a Parts Depot in GA.
It is due in Holly Hill, FL on Tu PM or Wes AM.
This makes the second part failure the Spyder has had since I bought it August 2011. The first was a LH Control Switch assembly switch.
The only thing that:cus: Me off was the donut vendor did not show up this morning. :cus: It!
