I am thinking about purchasing a 2014 Spyder. I have some questions if anyone is willing to help me.
Thanks.

Franchised dealers are pretty much the same no matter where you go; no matter what you're buying...
They will try to squeeze every drop of blood that they can out of you, and you'll try to steal every morsel of food off the plates of their children... nojoke
In the end; you either find some common ground, and everybody comes out of the room equally unhappy...
or you walk away and start the process someplace else! :yikes:
Oh! :welcome: Happy hunting! :2thumbs:

More or less, yes.One is buying a Spyder like buying a car?
There aren't a lot of deals to be had on 2014's right now as they're pre-orders. Once they've been sitting in the showrooms for months you'll find more dealers ready to make you a bargain deal.Do you have to pay sticker price or do dealers make deals?
I have no experience in that area, but I'm sure others will chime in.The is only dealer in OKC area. Can anyone recommend one close to OKC?
Everyone is somewhat biased about their own dealers--unless they have had a bad experience. I am one of those that recommend checking local first. There have been many nightmare postings about people that purchased a :spyder2: from far away. Then, they have issues with it, and the local dealer gives the customer the cold shoulder and does little or nothing to fix the :spyder2:
There seem to be no rules enforced to get warranty service from an authorized dealer. Its kind of up to them how they are going to treat you.
Like any other big ticket item--you have to do your homework to see if you are getting the best price. There are good prices and not so. The customer usually gets what they pay for though. There is a reason some dealers are cheaper than others. Most times it has to do with how good they are on service. The dealer who takes you money and sends you out the door never to see you or your :ani29: again--has nothing to lose.
