• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

i had a rough night sleeping so i was looking around on the web. as i was looking i went to the vertika trike web site, i love their full floor boards but the price is very high on them. it's 1800 dollars w/o paint and shipping. but looking at them i see that they cover the bottom vent hole that most of the heat that hits our feet comes out of, the vent is under the board if i see it right. so than i thought that this might be a good way to help avoid the right foot problem if we are going to take a big beating on a trade in if we are looking to off the bikes. 6 to 8 k loss verses 2 k for the boards. plus the fact i love the way the bike looks with them on it.

It's in the eye of the B holder. I really don't think the right foot heat issue is such a big deal and I ride almost naked.

Please do not ride through my neighborhood near naked. :lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie:

No eye patch

Shorts, tank top, deck shoes and Wiley sunglasses. No black leather, red bandana, jack boots.
I do make wear clean underwear in case I have to go to the hospital. Someone along the line said always have on clean underwear. I really don't know why because I think if I got run over by someone texting, well would the underwear still be clean?:yikes:

You said you were dreaming about them. Well, don't just dream the dream, live the dream.

dream

i am waiting for a quote from a dealer on what my bike is worth on a trade in. i hope to have it today because the salesman was not in yesterday. if i can take a 6k beating on the bike i will most likely trade it for a 14. but 6 k is my limit on a trade, if over that i will seriously look into the boards for 2 k

They also make a top vent cowl that forces more air into the engine area.
That Spyder guy in Canada that makes some of those video *like the last Lamont interview) has it on his spyder and he said it solved all of his heat issues.

see the way they cover the vents, i would think the heat from the bottom vent goes under the board and not up on the foot

FYI I bought the seal floorboards from our vendor sponsor on this site and they work the same in that area of interest. block the top hole and the seal floorboard blocks the bottom...much cheaper for the same results , just not as pretty!:firstplace:
