What do you think? Will they put the 1330 and 6 speed in the 15 ST? I sure hope so. And maybe offer it in 09 RS red/ viper red to boot. I may would preorder mine today. I only have a year to wait. opcorn:opcorn::banghead:

I was talking with the BRP rep at Spyderquest and I asked him this same question. He said 2 years minimum, IF they do. So, 2016 looks like the earliest, if they do change the engine. He said as far as BRP is concerned the 990 has plenty of power. We just have to keep on BRP to change their minds. My wife will be wanting a ST in a couple of years. So, hopefully they will have the 1330 by then, just for the gas mileage and maintenance.

I am usually pretty good with my predictions--but they blew me away with the 2014 and the 1330cc triple.

At this point, it's a bunch of wait and see. Very interesting to speculate about though.

The 990 puts out enuf power for me, but the 200+ range and 6-spd trx looks like the future - AND I LIKE IT! :thumbup:
