• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I put a down payment on a RT S SE-6 today in Cognac. If all the financing goes good the first ride on it will be just over 500 miles back to Cantonment, FL.

While I love the things they have done to the 2014 RT, I gotta say I am happy with what I have with my 2011 RTS.

I will wait, turn mine in at a good mileage (thinking below 40K), get best price I can, then get a new one.
Probably 2016 when my BEST warranty runs out.

Bottom line I will always ride a spyder until I can't anymore.
I love the freakin thing!

I will be taking the plunge....depending on what has happened to the value of my 2012 RT Ltd. I only have 7k miles on it, so I am hoping that the trade in offer doesn't sour the deal. As long as I am able to get a deal done before Spyderfest....

Sent from the corner of walk and don't walk....

Getting a RT in Timeless black with trailer. Will be putting on about 1500+ miles on it before I get back home. Yes I will be posting the experience on the way home.

Ordered a RT in timeless black from Pitbull Powersports, will be trading in my 2013 RT (Silver), hope to have it by mid Oct or sooner

Joe,
What made you decide on the RT, and not the RT-S in Timeless Black?
Was it because you'd need a new helmet to go with the completely blacked-out bike? 2012-11-13-darth_vader.jpg

I need that Darth Vader Helmet for my new Ryde. I went with the RT Basic because i want to do some of my own mods and by buying the Basic i will have $15.00 left over.

:roflblack: I'm sure you meant $1,500 but it made me laugh.

I ordered an RTS-SM6 in white

How did you end up with a whole fifteen bucks left over??
You're a lucky man!
I'll be giving up breakfasts, three suppers a week, no more pay per view movies, online shopping for farkles (:yikes:, 'And I'll be looking for babysitting gigs, lawns that need mowing, and bloodbanks needing a fill-up on their A positive supply...

I was wondering how you Americans could afford the new 2014, now I know.

I was thinking of selling my body to science, but was told that since all the good parts were worn out, I would have to settle for a couple of buck for the false teeth, that sure brought the ego down, LOL.
