• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Touring Windscreen

Can anyone recommend a windscreen that's about two inches longer than the stock Windscreen on the ST-Limited? Or one that does a better job of moving the air up and over the spyder to reduce neck fatigue on long trips?

cal sci

i just ordered the large extra wide that is about one and a half inches higher than the medium it was the same price as the medium

I find the brp ultra touring for the ST to be just about perfect height wise (I', 5'9") and I can use it in any of the positions with nice smooth air, or almost done if all the way up.

Not knocking the Cal-Sci screens tho, considering getting a wide one for more hand/shoulder coverage for winter.

I tried the BRP ultra touring. The height was great but not wide enough. The width and venting in the Calsci are much better for me. No more bobble head

I shouldn't say anything; but we just got back from a 160 mile hop, and I was sitting in the quietest calmest bubble of clean air... on my RT!! :D
(If you wanted a bigger windshield; buy the bigger bike!)
Sorry... I couldn't help it! :opps: ;)

;) I said that I was sorry... :D
I tested an ST Limited last November; my only gripe about them was the extra wind that I felt on my shoulders when compared to my RT,,,
But they ARE a nice bike!

If my rear was as big as the RT's I would have bought one! But the ST with a wider windshield is perfect for me. nojoke

Just follow my lead and advice and get one each. That's what we have done and it is the perfect pair. But then we are now looking for a GS or RS to finish out our collection.

Thanks - I have bookmarked the calsci site for easy access when I'm ready for it. Bob I would have gotten the RT, but I didn't want my kids asking to join us on trips ;)
