• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Throttle return hesitation on up shift SE5

About 1 out of 20 times I up shift my 2012 RT SE5 transmission there is a longer hesitation for throttle return than normal. Any one else having this problem?

I think it's normal. Seems like a 2-3 shift it will bobble a little trying to get everything lined up. It happens in the 5,000- 5,500 rpm range.

If you twist the throttle to accelerate before the shift is complete the shift computer will take longer to feather in the clutch.

If I assume you are rolling-off the throttle when shifting, instead try using the manual's recommendation of not rolling-off the throttle when shifting the SE5, (and shift at higher rpm's (5,000+) and see if your shifts improve...)
