Do you have this Luggage Rack?

I was thinking about purchasing this luggage rack for my RT. I really like the looks of it and was just wondering if anyone else had installed it and what they thought? Photos on your bike would be great if you have them.

It's the same one. It's just a different vendor selling it. Glad you pointed that out though, I would rather buy from a site sponsor and it's about the same price.

I have this rack and love it. Installation was easy. Just make sure you measure multiple times before you drill. I think I might have measured at least 10 times before I drilled my first hole.

Trunk Rack



I have the Diamond R Trunk Rack. An advantage to their rack is that it will not block those that have the 3rd brake light up high on the trunk. Diamond R is a sponsor on Spyderlovers too. They come in black powder coated or chrome. It's always nice to have options...

I have one coming from value accs. also. I like it because it matches my Harley ultra classic crome luggage rack I mounted on the tongue of my can am trailer. :yes:

Just my 2 cents on ANY rear trunk rack.

My understanding is it is far better to have weight positioned up front and low. Thus I don't think I would ever want one of these unless it was for strapping down very light weight things like a jacket.

Personal experience is, I was starting to pile thinks in my rear trunk that were heavy. Tools, oil, etc. I decided to put them in the Frunk and to me, I noticed a difference when I had a passenger (wife).

Maybe a Frunk rack might be better?

I ordered my rack from BigBike parts in May. I was contacted today that it will be shipped to me next week. I'm bummed because we leave on vacation this Saturday. I was hoping I would have it by then.

I have the 622 trailer for traveling. Mainly all I want the luggage rack for is looks and to strap a couple of bag chairs when we go to a dinner/cookout.

Seems like those racks would block any added LED lights on the trunk,,,,such as the HMT light.

They do not block Tric LEDs 3rd and 4th Brake/running lights
