I will be arriving on August 8th, on a 6,800 miles ride over 14 days.

I have been told you need to see Sturgis twice. Once to see the circus:yikes: and, the next time to see the scenery. I have been thinking about going out this month ( before the circus starts ), but I have to see how funds are.

We will be heading out to "Spyders in the Redwoods" Sonora CA August 5th thru the 8th. But I'm sure it will live up to it's rep...!! Enjoy...hyea:

Take about 300,000 HD's and the assorted people that are on them, add in a whole bunch of other bikes and riders, have a large drinking and other things party that lasts about a week, and you have a kind of a circus.

And yes, I have been there during the festivities. :thumbup:

I will be there Aug. 8 as part of my 4,000-mile 22-day motorcycle camping trip.
