• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Exhaust

Which exhaust do you think is best for the price? I am not looking for something crazy loud but I do like the deepness. Let me hear your thoughts!!

exhaust?

you may want to consider a cat bypass will help with heat, and sounds deeper but not much louder than stock ,only a few decibels

Ya, I have heard the Two Brothers in person and it sounds great. How does the Hindle sound? Am I going to see a change in MPG? How about Yoshi?

hey bryan

i think the H M F pipe is the best bang for the buck. i believe it's well under three hundred. looks and sounds good. if i were to BUY a pipe, that would be it.

EXHAUST

For the Price.........................................................The one that's already on your Spyder :hun: :agree: :2excited:  :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:..Mike

A fuel controller is recommended for the HMF... Will pop some on decel. Performance intake will intensify lean fuel situation.
In short... YES

HMF......best pipe for the Spyder......hands down. Sounds the best and cost the least.....who would have thought that combo existed....

Brogers...to answer your question, the hindle is the only pipe that I'm aware of that doesn't require a controller. It definitely is more restrictive(hence, the lack of a fuel controller requirement), and quieter than most competition mufflers. Some reported quality control issues(heat plate rivets), and can be expensive (Has Can Am written on it....lol).

Without starting a war over exhausts, you deserve to ask yourself why you want an aftermarket muffler. If you want a little more sound so your Spyder doesn't sound like a sewing machine, perhaps the hindle is ideal. If your building for performance sake ( intake, fuel controller, exhaust),I'd personally get something that flows better... Yoshi, HMF, 2Bro, etc. Think of your engine as a big pump. The more air IN, the more air OUT, the better off you'll be. Make your dollars count.

IMHO, build up for future modifications...let each performance mod compliment the other.

Enjoy!

Wonderful, you have answered all my questions. I am just looking for something with some bark to it but not excessive. I had the Yoshi pipes before and they are loud but nice. How much louder is the hindle than the stock exhaust?

25% perhaps?... Lets see... Your around 80-85 stock. Hindle states 96db. 2Bro above 100db, HMF, 108-110 db. Still looking for stats on R77 Yoshi

My wife and I prefer the Super Trapp. Best performance increase I have ever realized on any bike. Automotive Universal model about $230 delivered.
