• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can anyone with access to their RT shop manual tell me what P1030 Error Code is plz

Not sure if this is get'n annoying or interesting:shocked: but while ryding last night, we kept getting the ORANGE SCREEN OF DEATH shouting CHECK THE DAMN ENGINE and I checked, it was still there :lecturef_smilie: no one stole it, so what's all the dang fuss about :dontknow:

I'm having computer/Internet problems at home (un Spyder related) but now, every time I try to open our shop-manual, it comes up with an ERROR, YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR ADOBE READER TO VIEW THIS DOCUMENT:lecturef_smilie:

I've updated the dang thing as updated as it will allow itself to be updated, however I keep getting the same error every time I try to open the program :banghead: even after shutting down, restarting, rebooting :gaah:

Hence.......... I can't find out what Error Code P1030 means.... any :helpsmilie:

P1030 = HO2S heater control circuit sensor 1 - Blown fuse, damaged or disconnected O2 sensor, damaged or disconnected circuit wires, damaged ECM output pins.

What version of Adobe Reader are you using? That message usually indicates that the document was produced with a later version that the one you are trying to open it with.

hmmmmmm....................... This is my first foray into P1030 territory, could it be something as simple as a blown fuse :pray: really? I can hope as much, but then, the burdensome thought of what caused the fuse to blow:dontknow: I need to get access to that dang manual :banghead:

As for Adobe, I think its either Version 9 or 10. I was thinking last night that it said I was using Version 9 but that there were updates available, and I downloaded and installed them, reloaded the computer (Win7) and tried the manual once again, but it still had the same error message. Went back to the Adobe help page, checked once again for updates, but it said I was currently up to date. Just for the sake of trying, I tried shutting the system down again and powering back up, but to the same error message :banghead:

Just uninstall ALL your versions of Adobe Reader (usually updates install 2 or more instances of Reader) and download the latest and greatest version.
 
I only use Windsnows (and I cleaned that up a bit) when I have too, 4 out of 5 computers here speak Linux :ohyea:

You got that right, Chris... True story when I lived in Texakana (Texas)... Gotta love it when your wife calls you asking what the :cus: is there a goat in the front porch... No idea how it got there, but she thought I ordered it on eBay... Then when I related the story at work their response was "Arkansas side are the ones that order goats on eBay!"nojoke

Do I have the correct manual

I purchased a manual from Midwest Manuals and I must be acting like Windows here, I am not able to find any list of codes. I am able to find the section that talks about the codes and to search some Knowledge Center. Did I get the wrong manual?

Expand the Electronic Management Systems chapter. Then look under Monitoring Fault Codes.
