• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Most popular color

Blue, of course, but not just ANY blue...oh no. The blue they used on the 2011 RT, which is just a tad darker than what they went to in 2012.

That blue.

That would be "Orbit Blue"; they also used it for the 2010 model year RTs... :2thumbs:

The RS and current RTs are getting "Quantum Blue"...

The only true color for a Spyder is Green and flat Black :yes: any color is good as long as its a spyder if you dont like the color get it wraped.

I am interested in buying a Spyder sometime in the next year. I would like to know what is the most popular color of Spyder on the road today. Thanks!

Okay, now I get it. You're not looking to get the most popular color. You're looking to maybe get the color that is least seen.

I wanted Magnesium, the dealer said they only had yellow and blue, ended up with Viper Red, the color the long haired Col wanted. It does not matter as long as I got one......just saying.

:dontknow: Just get the color that you like, regardless if it's popular or not. I have to admit it was the Lave Bronze with tan seat that tipped me over the edge in buying the limited.

you will probably find as I did that the color is dictated by what they have available at the time if you are shopping smart and buying a 2013 in 2014 and saving some $$$ barring that, get what appeals to you the most, and dont hesitate to get your second color choice. You will find that they all look awesome in your garage

Most Popular Color

Ok, well that settles it. The most popular color is the one that I like best. Thanks to all who responded. The search is on...

the best color is the one you get the best price on because they all ride the same once you get use to it and have the sway bar added to it

:agree: I would rather have bought another blue bike, but the best deal I got was the Viper Red bike. Don't get me wrong, the Viper Red is a great color, but I just didn't want to change my handle to Red Star nojoke

Your going to have a hard time finding a consensus here. No one has given what is actually the most popular color sold. I do not recall seeing those numbers here either. Maybe a poll set up that allows people to VOTE MORE THAN ONCE if they have owned multiple units. This will enable us to see what colors were actually purchased by Spyderlover members.

In my case, I never got color choice. I tried to buy smart, but then ended up with the color that was available.

2008: GS Half Moon Silver, 2009: RS Red, 2010: RT-S Black, 2011: RT A&C Magnesium
I ended up liking them all.

Last year: I was favoring the white color, this year I am favoring the yellow color but have not voted with my checkbook on them.

If I had to guess, it would be silver or blue, because they have had the longest run with those colors. All others have either been added or deleted over the years. Others like bronze and white have only been available on the limited, so that excluded some who may have otherwise purchased them.

Just get your hands on one...

Just get your hands on any one you want, and you will come to think that THIS is the color for you! Rest assured, all of us have our own little preferences...but what it all boils down to is this..." Our SPYDERS are the best lookin' dang thangs on the road today, tomorrow, and for the rest of eternity!" How you like them apples!?!
Now get out there and ride!!!!!
