Nice to watch. But, every time I see a thread where someone on a spyder (this time it's a truck) says they beat a mustang or camaro (or whatever make/model you want to use) and nothing is mentioned about the engine/transmission, it kind of loses its flavor. Don't get me wrong; I found this video interesting.

The graphic says it's a Saleen and you can see it go sideways grabbing second, but to think the truck won at 83 mph!? Did the guy in the Mustang fall asleep?

A truck that size goes anywhere from 6 1/2 to 8 tons, I'd like to know what engine it's running, and how it's set up. I've seen cabover Peterbilts with 480 Cats run in the 14 second range, but you wouldn't want them on the road.
