• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

buell has a new bike out with a rotax motor which is unusual because they harley sportster motors. check it out'

Buell's new 1125R is being touted as a serious contender of the liter class and with good reason. Buell equipped the 1125R with a DOHC V-Twin Rotax engine that produces 146hp attached to a 6 speed gearbox with slipper clutch.
not to mention it's a six speed what do you think slap that in spydie:bowdown:

I guess if you have a need to go 20+ the speed limit, and feel that 2 wheels are ok.. then I guess the :spyder: is not for:bowdown: you.

The 1125R was new for 2008, been on the floors for quite awhile. The 1125CR is the newest model. I looked at the 1125R this spring before I bought the Spyder, very nice. But if you think the Spyder gets bad gas mileage you should here what folks are saying about the 1125R. Apparently you're doing good to get 25mpgs on those. I guess the Rotax like to drink.

I was scheduled to test drive one because I thought it would be a great Hooligan bike but I can't get past that ugly front fairing. Also, it's reportedly an uncomfortably stiff ride. The MSRP is very close to a Ducati Monster which is a far superior machine in every way. I love Buell but I think they missed with this one.

Which one were you gonna test the R or the CR? I thought the CR was pretty ugly until I saw one in person, they're actually pretty sharp looking. The R must not be moving that well, I saw them for $2,500 off MSRP and a $1,000 gift card last month.

The CR, of course! :) Gotta love Buell innovation. I just prefer the Italian style.

OH NO please dont get me wrong i was suggesting put that motor and tranny in the spyder i have read numerous post that some people would like a little more speed out of the spyder. As i have not yet had the chance to test ride one i could not comment on the spyder but i'am ready maybe at the NYC show i could, we will see.:shocked::shocked:

I was ready to buy an 1125...but they wouldn't budge, insisting it was worth every penny and every % of financing. They called me 3 times and threw 3 different salesman at me...guess they missed their chance!

buell

Heard all about that bike about 8 months ago. did not know it was out this year. Harley decided they wanted a rotax motor on the buell kind of like the aprila and bmw. can you blame them?
