brake light flasher wiring unit on our 13' RT and just wanted to give an overall thumbs up!!! The wiring, connectors are high quality, fit well, and the adjustable patterns are excellent. One item they should include in their instructions is to just remove the taillight assemblies, the extra 5 minutes makes access to the connectors much easier, especially the passenger side. Overall, money well spent and I am very happy.

I am satisfied enough with that mod. that I do no think it will be necessary for the light on top of the trunk. At least for now......

I own an RS, and that light is the only MUST BUY I know of for the RT.

A Definite Got To Have

The high mounted trunk light is a very "must have" item that should be on everyone's list of things to add to your RT list.

It was December 2011 we had our RTL since August and we on our way home at noon in sunny Daytona Beach. My wife was driving and said to me, that is what we look like from the back! She had spotted another Pearl RT whose tag said he was a visitor to our area.

I spotted his high mounted tail light when he had to stop for a traffic light so when we got up alongside him she hollered over to him where did you get the brake light on the travel trunk? He hollered back to us and when we got home we investigated it on the Internet. Liking what we saw. Now we have ours. Since then we have probably sold a dozen of them just by show a tell.

Anne has followed me many times and always remarks how visible and bright it is when following me. I am glad I have it especially in the dark when stopping you can see the red in the mirrors.


just recently we converted the fender tip lights and the rear front fender red reflectors to running turn lights and that is another excellent safety item.

I have the trunk mounted brake lights installed on both RT's. That was my first farkle for both RT's.

I have the third brake light with the double play and the fasher. I have also added the 4 & 5 brake lights.

tempt me to reconsider.... I am amazed with how bright the factory lights are in the rear, and now with the flash much more so. I agree more lighting is better though....

Yes, the high mounted trunk brake light is a must. It's the best mod I have on our 2011 RT-L. :thumbup:

I had my brake light installed before my bike was delivered to me. When I was talking my class everyone noticed it and loved it. I love the brightness of it.
