• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After Doc blew his first motor out on the Salt Flats... He was seen pulling on his Salt Flats Racing Association T-shirt and muttering on how it was the most expensive T-shirt he ever bought....

Well... This will be the most expensive BBQ for me as I bought a toy hauler for the express purpose of including my family in my Spyder adventures. Ok, well... I'm selfish. I bought it so that I could still Spyder around and have family time which is becoming more important as Leah gets older.

This will be the first trip with the Spyder in the trailer and the family along with me. I had wanted them to come out last year and the year before, but that meant my wife driving on her own from Charlotte and back with Leah prisoner in the back seat. Now my wife has no way out. ;)

I'm so excited for many of you to finally meet Leah and for my wife to meet all these characters I've been telling her about for the better part of four years now. We are so very thankful for all the support you've given Leah and the March of Dimes since her birth.

:nopic: Congrats and welcome to the toy hauler family. You will enjoy the comforts. What toy hauler did you get?

 Yep, welcome to the toyhauler family. We've only done our practice trip so far with the new toyhauler.

Bought a 22 foot 2009 Forrest River/Continental Cargo Toy Hauler. 5400# dry weight, tandem 5200# axles. Two 30# tanks and pretty much everything except an oven. Wish the gray water tank was a bit larger though. Took it on a test run and wife will definitely have to adjust her shower time... :D

Just installed a new electric jack as the one that came with it was shot. Gas water heater works fine, but electric element is seemingly toast so I bought a new one that I'm putting in this weekend.

Looking forward to towing it up to Grayson Highlands in VA this summer. Will post a pic soon.

Thanks for the video and best of luck with the toy hauler. We still take Navy showers even though we have bigger tanks now, just easier that way. Show everyone how the shut off works on the shower head and you'll be fine. I normally carry one full 5 gallon fresh water container when we travel just in case, and more than one if we are going to a place without hook-ups such as a car show weekend. Others camping with us usually borrow them and return. There are portable sewage containers available, however water management is easier. The worst is filling the black tank and not having a place to dump - and smelling while you travel until you can dump it.
