• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Unanticipated Spyder costs.

So after a couple of years I was thinking of the costs of a spyder and then the unanticipated costs. Please add to the list.

Lawn care people---I kept on losing gardening equipment as the lawn grew
a mifi----- so I could access internets when on the longer trips
patches and flag money
AAA---- because it worked so well with Murphybrown

Ya I just sent Reggie check for $96 Oh well its all good if tou get what you want :yes: :roflblack:

Higher fuel expenses from taking the long-way to anywhere...

Bigger gifts for weddings, B-days, graduation and etc due to guilt of no longer attending these events because of riding...

Lawn care service...

House cleaning service...

Handyman service...

Addition to the garage for the Spyder...

You don't say! My lawn was in need of a haircut because I have neglected it riding the bike. I finally got off the bike and mowed the lawn to match all my neighbors lawn. Now if I can just get back to doing other around the house stuff! Yeah right! "Ride on baby!" "Ride on!":ohyea:

My costs are out of sight

My costs went out of sight. In 1996 when I had to give up riding due to physical limitations. We never anticipated electronic shifting, power steering or three wheels. So we gave it all up and away. Snow suits, rain gear, col wet weather gear (overgarments), helmets, gloves etc.

my significant other is a "Virgo" with a chrome streak, need for color coordinated clothing etc. I like being neat and tidy so she dresses me well.

So if you add on new things to replace all the gone old things and matching everything's plus house maintenance, lawn service, a new SRX our new Spyder cost us $50,000 and still climbing as I think I may have to put a hydraulic lift on it to assist loading her skinny butt on/off due to her leg muscles giving out after five get on an offs in a day. Getting olde is not for wimps.

You guys are funny! Bob I know:roflblack: I'm not alone here but I am really looking forward to the day I can meet the Missus.

We moved from the house with acreage to a tiny little Las Vegas yard that takes 5 minutes to mow so I cut down on those expenses. The thing that kills me is putting the dogs in the kennel yike$ I wish I owned stock in one. The gas is also a big one since we each ride our own machines.
