• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Belt Tensioners

Anyone have any thoughts on the benefit of belt tensioners? I have heard both pro and con on whether they help with vibration at speed. I have 2013 RT.

I put a Smooth Spyder Tensioner on my 09 GS and it was a huge improvement. I now have a 2013 ST and don't feel the need for one. It may be because BRP increased the belt tension specification for the 2013's.

Don't know..!!

I don't know how much it helps with the vibrations cause those come from so many places. I have it to keep the belt tight to the sprocket lessening the chance of debris getting in and damaging either..:dontknow:

I had the harmonic vibration buzz at around 73-76 mpg 5500 rpm on my 2012 RTS and at Spyderfest I had the Baker Belt Tensiooner put on and the vibration is GONE

WOW! I'd like to get that kind of gas mileage. (Couldn't let that one go.)

Same experience on my 2011 RTS but no tensioner, yet. I have something to look forward to.
