• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Reverse/signal light while riding

This past weekend while on a long ride , my 2010 rs sm5 start flashing the reverse/signal lights on the dash, not the outside signals while I was riding . I notice it more in 4th gear than in 5th. But went away when I put a little pressure on the shifter, I believe it must be a losse connection on a reverse sensor. Any idea where it could be at? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Don't know..!!

for sure but I don't think this is a readily accessible item. May have to take it to the dealer. If its a wiring issue you will have to trace the wire path. If a contact issue you have to remove the sending unit.. Good luck more info to come...:dontknow:

Any idea where will this be located at?

It is installed into the side of the engine/transmission. You could change it yourself, but it is really a job best left to the dealer. He can make sure it is your problem, and assure that it is correctly installed. If you are capable of this type of work, I'd suggest you get a shop manual to guide you. They are available on DVD or in print.

Thanks, I will take a look at it.
