Peel's Ferry Ride-Friday April 26

I have been asked to be Ride Captian for the Peel's Ferry Ride @ Spyderfest 2013!!!
The ride is Friday April 26.. I am very excited & looking forward to this ride!!!
For those of you who know the area know this is a Awesome area to ride...
The ride is around 150 miles round trip... I am looking forward to Spyderfest & to this ride!!!hyea:

I plan to ride up HWY 7 from near Eldorado and at Harrison work my way over to Peel's Ferry and up to Spyderfest...any suggestions

I would stay on 125 after crossing the ferry all the way to hwy 14 in Sparta Mo i love that ride through the Mark Twain National Forest..
once you get to Sparta hwy 14 west will take you right in to Ozark Mo..

Hey fellow Spyderlovers,
Just a few updates to the ride:yes::yes::yes:
First off the ride is aprox. 150 miles so if every one fills up before hand we shouldnt need to worry about fuel!!! in the case that any one needs fuel @ about100 miles in we will be in Hollister Missouri for Lunch!!!
Lunch will be @ Keeter Center in Hollister ( keetercenter.edu/page/dining/lunch-menu.474.html )this is a link to there lunch menu word is Awesome food!!!
When we get to the Ferry we will be able to get about 20 Spyders across at a time... My thinking is getting the first group or two across & then we will go on ahead as to kind of stagger the arrival of the group for lunch!!!
After lunch it will be a straight shot N hwy 65 back to Ozark ( about 40 miles )...

Oh sorry.. The ride on Friday will be 65 south from Ozark to Ozark mountian highroad/ f hwy exit then F hwy east to hwy 160 east to hwy 125 south to Peels Ferry after crossing the ferry we will continue south 125 to county rd 2059/ locust rd east to AR-14 east to 65 north after stopping in Hollister we will continue north on 65 back to Ozark!!!

just a guess but i would say no later than 3:00 to 3:30

I drove the ryde route this after noon with my family!!!Now i am even more Excited!!!
I am looking forward to the Peels Ferry Ride only 1 week from today!!!!:yes::yes::yes:
Talked to the Captain on Peels Ferry while i was there & let him know we would see him next week!!!

Does the ramp getting onto the ferry have good clearance for the Spyder :dontknow: The web site, the water level was down at the time, shows a pretty steep ramp.

Made the ferry ride with our RT last Sept., no problem with the ramps loading and unloading.

Have been to Keeter Center (It's at the College of the Ozarks) and can vouch for the food being awesome. And the help (when I was there) was always pleasant and friendly. Good Choice! (This said, has been a number of years since I was there, but all true then!)
