• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Even Knee Surgery will not keep me from Spyder Fest!

Well, had my knee scoped today. The surgery was a success! The doctor said I will be enough to travel to Spyder Fest!:yes::yes:

 Arthroscopy is a great advance! Thank heavens for modern medicine. Same procedure on both knees...very different recoveries. In 1970 had cartilage removed by conventional surgery. Five days in hospital and three months of PT to recover enough that the doc would let me work again. 35+ years later had the other knee done by arthroscopy. Walked out of the hospital, went to work the next day, and was walking a couple of miles a day, a week later.

Know what you mean...........

I'm having surgery on my ankle (broke the fibula 3 weeks ago and thought it was a bad sprain) Tuesday, the 16th, afternoon. Glad I'm ryding a Spyder with SE5 so I can just cruise on down from Kansas City. Kinda wishing it had a better heater though.

Good timing..!!

Sorry you had to have any surgery but glad you will be able to go to spyderfest..safe trip enjoy..!! :2thumbs:

 Just checking... ;) it never hurts to have a little "insurance" if you're gonna be up and on your feet for the day/

tore a tendon loose from the bone in my shoulder, put pins in to reattach it to the bone, 2 weeks ago. will be at spyderfest, but will be sitting in the easy chair on the back. :banghead:

Just prior to Spyderfest 2 I was told I had to have my native kidneys removed due to internal bleeding. Not wanting to miss SF I waited until the week after SF to go under the knife. You have to have your priorities straight

Was riding 10 days later with 64 staples holding me together. :lecturef_smilie:

Had a shoulder replacement done two weeks ago. Cast comes off next Tuesday. Just started driving my Caravan and that drains me in a hurry. Cancelled Spyderfest but gonna try and do the Owners Rally. I hope you all have a great time. Maybe next year.

Jeff, How will you handle dialysis chores while at the big party?
Or do you have a peritoneal setup?
Like your wife I had a transplant. My wife gave me one of her kidneys in 2007. She is stingy, she told me I have to take care of this one because she is not going to give me another one :lecturef_smilie:
