• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey there, Florida Spyder Lovers!!!

I am in Orlando for the week on business. Unfortunately I do not have my Spyder with me, it is waiting for my return this coming weekend. I flew down.


I am in training til 6pm until Friday. I am wondering if there are any Spyderlovers near/in the Orlando area that are up for heading out to dinner, maybe Thursday evening?

Dean, I may very well be over in Daytona on Thursday. I'm not sure what time I'll be getting back. However, feel free to give me a shout 407-444-5533, Chris.

How long are you going to be here? Perhaps you could rent a spyder. I think that both Seminole Power Sports in Sanford and Central Florida Power Sports have spyder rentals. I'm not sure how much they are. Both places are very close to Orlando.

SOLUTION:

1. Change plane ticket to Monday, the 18th.
2. We all meet for dinner Thursday evening. (you name it)
3. Take Doc up on his offer, and we all go to Daytona, Saturday, the 16th and spend the day over there.

That's a great suggestion, but unfortunately, because of other commitments this week back home, I can only do 2. - dinner Thursday evening.
PS any suggestions on a dinner location in/near Orlando for us?

Dean, I've been instructed by "the little general" (my wife) that she had already made plans for me on Thursday. I'm going to have to opt out and take a pass till the next time you're down "seeking some knowledge".

In fact next time let us know in advance and we can better prepare. (plus I can perhaps pull rank on the little general) and get together with you.

Forrest, I'm definitely going both days. On Friday, I'm open to what your schedule is. Give me a shout (407) 323-6392 = land line or (407) 444-5533 = cell. Ivor wants to go too, but he is getting his spyder worked on at Central Flarda Power Sports and probably won't get up this way till noon. He said for me to go on ahead and he'll meet at the BRP site.
On Saturday, Ivor (who is spending the night up this way in Sanford) and Zbunker/Ron and Sylvia want to go over together. We haven't set up a time yet, but my thinking would be sometime around 9:00 to 9:30. Zbunker/Ron will be meeting me at the Racetrak station on SR 46 just east of I-4. We'd love to have you ride with us.

Bottom line give me a shout.

Yes you can... Just maybe it will then go faster and get better mileage. ( cobwebs you know ) spyder gets those..
