• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It was nice to see old friends and the ride was great. LOVE YOU Forest, Scoot. :roflblack: :roflblack::roflblack:

It truly was a great day. Folks, if you haven't met Lilly, then let me tell ya. What a classy and nice lady. Forrest, I apologize we didn't get back to the BRP site. We got tied up at the vendors and went straight on home.

Zbunker/Ron and Sylvia rode up to Bunnell with Cindy and me. Janie/JHarpo was there with her son Chris. A great time was had by all. I just wish there had been more time to talk to spyder friends. Richard/A1A came down from Jacksonville, and I didn't have a chance to get to know him.

Hope to see many of ya'll this coming week and Saturday. I'm gonna try and be there either Wednesday or Friday. Will be there Saturday for sure.

Great pics, John.

We agree, good pics Johnny as usual
took us 3 1/2 hrs to get home after a very wild ryde; coming into DeLand, we saw a car pull out in front of a goldwing on the other side of the hwy...goldwing went down but took the entire front plastic bumper/ grill panel off the car. goldwing driver got up.
We decided to go up 19 instead of 40 into Ocala since we had been following 2 HDs that were traveling our speed and there was no traffic on 19. Carol being Carol decided she needed to pray for the riders in front of us, and about 5 miles south of Salt Springs a big black bear came racing for the HDs. We were about 100 yards behind the 2nd bike. The guy on the first HD seemed to accelerate and went by the bear, but the girl on the second one took the full hit of this good 5-6 ft 400 # bear right into her crash bar and her leg. The bear hit with his head first and the impact caused him/her to lift a good 3 ft off the ground. The bike got knocked so hard it bent the crash bar and the right side fork so badly that she couldn't steer and the bike veered to the shoulder of the road. The amazing thing was that she never dropped the bike!! I stopped beside her and jumped off to hold her up since she was going into shock and we got her on the ground and called 911. We stayed with her and her husband until they took her in the ambulance and it seemed as though she had a broken ankle. Meanwhile the bear got off to the side of the road and collapsed in a heap; I thought about putting it out of its misery, but know that Fla frowns on that with endangered animals so we walked back towards the bear after about 5-10 minutes and it just got up and ran into the woods like it had been stunned.
All in all a very crazy trip home:pray:

I am glad that the accident was not more serious..

I even feel for the Bear.. Bears should always be aware of HOGS and SPYDERS.

I really enjoyed meeting everybody at Manny's. I only had a chance to talk with a few of y'all. I never been with so many Spyder Lovers at one time (Great Experince). I don't understand how we got split up after breakfast. But we seemed to come together again at the Can-Am tent. Thanks to all Spyder Lovers for the memories and Chris for taking charge and setting this all up.

Hope to see everybody next Saturday March 16th!

Richard

I'm two minutes from that exit. I think the bike rider was actually killed by a van that was trying to avoid the accident. Ran the rider over. Live like you're dying folks.
