• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bike Week

I highly recommend riding the race track. I've done it for two years now and its a blast.

I've loved bikes and the Great American Race since I was a little kid. I'm hoping for next year.:doorag:

Registered as soon as I saw the thread. Thanks, Lamont see you Saturday, oh will you be leading the pack on the track?

Daytona Spyder Event

Thanks Lamont. Registered and I am there!

If any Spyder Ryders from the southeast are heading down early Thursday, I am ryding from Charlotte then. I am ryding down by myself to capture a little adventure but it's always "the more the merrier!"

Don't forget to come early

A cheerful reminder to come early and let's all ride in the HD parade and show the watchers what a real machine looks and sounds like. The assembly point opens at 7AM and the first bike is out the gate at 9 AM. We normally get there close to 8 AM which puts us half way back away from the hot rodders and show off crowd. It is a free parade and moves along about the speed limit 30/35 MPH assemble at the Daytona Beach Convention center in the South parking lot

BRPi is located on the North side grandstands at the Western end of the Nothing parking lot. Between the Kawasaki an Yamaha tents. If you wre to enter the parking lot from International Speedway Blvd as soon as you got to the service roadway behind Honda turn right (west) and go until you pass a concrete block building on your right and left. Turn to the right and look straight ahead and you should see the BRP trail track and big awning attached the trailer van

See you in Daytona!

I talked to one of the sales reps at the BRP site today. He asked if I had registered, and I said yes. I explained to him that many of us had registered, but didn't receive any kind of confirmation. The sales rep told me that this was due probably because the events were subbed out to a company who would handle these matters. He, the sales rep, actually doubted I'd receive anything, but advised that I be here Saturday morning.

I just got the above confirmation when I got back home from Daytona today. Hope this helps.

Chris

Mr Orange, we saw it from a distance today down on the waterfront in Daytona. We couldn't see it as well as we wanted to, but it sure cought our eye. We'll keep on the lookout for it while we're down here and if we see it again, we'll try to find out some info on it.

Has anybody seen this one in person? It just came up on my FB page. Some real imagination went into this build. I just wonder why he went for motorcycle tires? It seem like such a waste of rubber on the ground. Imagine that shot from the rear with a nice square tire on it. I'd like to know where he got his front fenders from? Also is that what looks to be an intake on the hood real? Maybe he will bring it to Spyderfest!
