• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hand Brake question

Once more..!!

This has come up earlier. No one seems to have dealt with this system. We need a guinea pig who can let us know. Will having brembo only half way work or should you change disks and calipers..?? :hun:

:agree: this needs more investigation. This item came on the radar shortly before the 2013 models were introduced.
At that time we didn't know that the 2013 models would have Brembo braking systems.
I suspect that it is for the new systems only but I'm not sure.
If I had a 2013, I would be checking it out, as I really like my handbrake.

You get what you pay for. What they show and describe is insufficient to do the job as a secondary brake actuating mechanism. If it is meant to replace the foot-operated control, it may or may not have enough pressure and volume to do the job. Without specifications, guarantees, or user testimonials or references, who is to know? It could be dangerous (and possibly illegal) to completely do away with the foot operated brake, anyway. Looks ill-conceived at best, and could be a rip-off. JMHO

:agree: ISCI's system is more expensive... But it's a proven perfomer with a Company that stands behind their products.
Now the question has to become; how much is your safety worth to you?
Ditto. I have the ISCI system and am extremely satisfied with it.

OK, I was going to see if the dealership would do it. This might be the safest plan. Thanks everyone
