• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 steering fix

According to my dealer BRP has found the problem.
It stems from the lower ball joint being too stiff. Making the steering stick from side to side and holding the suspension from moving freely.

Thanks for the report!
Let's all hope that this issue is the only one that they find, and that a quick fix is found! ;)

Lets hope..!!

Hopefully that is it and those affected can get back on the road like the spyders we know. Then move on to selling and expanding the spyder lovers on the highways and byways...!!:ohyea:

A "stiff" balljoint causing handling problems on a 900lb+ vehicle?....really?

I've seen ball joints that are to stiff make ford trucks handle bad so on a little spyder would real hard to keep straight. You would put way to much force in it to keep it straight and it would be all over the road. Good find and I hope it takes care of it!

Does anyone have access to the official pronouncement from BRP about this? I would like to see what the document says.
