• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

(-7) degrees Celsius is 19.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Good enough for me!

Riding to work today!
I get too jealous when I read about all my SL friends down south still being able to ride.

It's only a 10 minute ride for me. No worries!

It is a cool 58 here this morning in Texas. Suppose to hit 71 and sunny today. May take Spyder for a short ride but need to bundle up good. :roflblack:

That's the way to go. Ride when you can, There be plenty of time to be cold when your in the box!
Dress for the conditions and you'll be fine, Just this Wednesday (15%f) i rode 160 miles.

Went out to take a quick pic! Can't wait for all this snow to melt!

The look of amazement I got from others on the road this morning. Priceless!

Re: Salt.

Albeit, the parking lot you see me in looks saturated in Salt; the roads are clear.

It's rained here in Toronto the past few days and has washed most of the road salt away.

Any relation to the big Country Singer Brad Paisley? Thought if you were you could make a video showing off your singing talents!:2thumbs:

I guess that my ignorance is going to surface here... :opps:
I was under the impression that you weren't allowed out on the streets before March 15th unless your vehicle had snow tires on it...
Or is that a peculiarity in a specific Province?

Hate to say it but I wish it would rain here some. Not enough snow here to ride the sleds, but NY state uses all kinds of salt on the roads to keep them ice free:banghead:. I was hoping you had a magic cure for road salt

So, it's a little chilly out - it is!!

I admire ya mate......ride as often as you can!

Riding in the south. The coolest temps I've riden in this year / 28 degrees (below sea level here so temps below that are not abnormal). Unlike you northerners tho, we don't have to worry about salt. But when in the mountains the north slope roads are 'sanded' (heavily) so ya really gotta stay out of the throttle. :doorag:

My cure for salt on the road is to ride and ignore it, Trike's aren't trophy's that you hang on the wall there made to ride. Now if it's too cold to ride and you use salt on the road for the reason not to ride,:dontknow:

The opinions expressed here are mine, Yours might differ.:roflblack:

That's a law in Quebec and maybe some other provinces but not in Ontario.

-7 C sounds so much worse then 20 F. that is my normal lower limit, but have been known to ride at lower tempetures for PGR Missions.
The "sound" is kinds like being told I am more then 3/4 of a Century Old (78).
Have fun and ride

Too short..!!

10 min ryde is too short. Does the bike even warm up to running temp..? No long ways to work..? Go for it..

Argh!!! :banghead:

It's snowing out now..

I'll take it slow going home.. Don't want to give anyone a heart attack on the road. :>

I'll check in later when I get home safely.
