Lamont BBQ 2013.

I guess the only other thing we need to know to plan timing and rooms for Owners event is whether Lamont BBQ will be adjacent to that event or a free standing event on another date???????????????

So I'm really looking forward to this trip, already registered with BRP now looking at accommodations.

No idea on location difference between Maggie Vally and Lamont's BBQ, other than one is in NC and other in TN. Coming down from MA, I'm I best to spend Saturday night in Maggie Vally or find a hotel closer to TN?

Have my room booked at the Quality (Jamison) Inn..They haven't talked with anybody about a group rate yet but I got the same group rate we had last year...$77 per night. They said if a group rate is established they'll change my rate to that if lower...I got this rate with a retired military discount. It's gonna be a good year....I'll be staying there Friday night and head back towards home after the BBQ and get a room for Saturday somehwere closer to Michigan

Update...Just called back to extend my stay for a Sunday departure...They've established a Spyder BBQ group rate for $69.99...Ask for Spyder BBQ.

I wish BRP would plan these out a lot earlier. Have things already planed out from 6/2/13-6/16/13/. They should be releasing next years event now. Been wanting to get back since Lamont's second BBQ.:banghead:

Dean stay at Maggie Valley until the Fri evening or Sat morning.A bunch of us are staying at the Comfort Inn.We have a group rate just say Sunbird Spyder Group.
Lamonts place is an hour minimum.You can ride over Saturday early or Fri night and stay at Greenville.
