• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone put a J&M CB radio on theri spyder? What did you use to mount it to the handle bars?

From what I have seen and read, I think this is the route I am going to go vs BRP.

Used a large C bolt and run the wiring into the speaker and under the plastic.

I got a Midland 75-822 and a MotoComm M/C 751 headset. I am going to mount it as soon as the weather gets a lot better. I really have a bunch of thing to do to the R/T. I have looked at a lot of ways and the best way a friend and I have come up with is to Mount it on the dash with a 1" base mount, a 1" ball-M6 mounted to the belt clip, and a socket arm. If you are thinking on the handlebars look at this ( on the DYI forum look on the second page at Lamonts post for putting a 1" ball on the handle bar )
This forum is an encyclopedia for do it yourselfers. Hope that helps.
