• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A friend and fellow Spyder Rider of mine passed this on to me today, thought some of the ladies may be interested. You may contact Cindy Landry @ (409) 679-4310 or Mary Bray @ (409) 790-4097, or Kathy Cox (409) 289-5754 if you have any questions.

They are planning the 2nd Annual Women's Motorcycle Campout. It will be May 3, 4, and 5, 2013. It will be at http://outbackcampground.com/map.html They have lots of really nice cabins and beautiful RV sites. They have already rented cabins 7 and 8. The park said within a couple of weeks they will start booking up. So better act quickly if wanting a cabin or RV spot to join in the fun. They had a blast last year. So don't miss out. Please let them know if you are coming. The only thing you will need is Towels. They have everything else in the cabins. They will provide a meal Friday evening, and breakfast and coffee for both mornings. There is a full store on site so you can purchase drinks or anything else you may want. They will be eating out the rest of the time. Any one that is bringing cargo trailers are welcome to help bring extra items that they have a list of.

Campout

Need to go ahead a book your campsite or there are several cabins available. Cabins 7 and 8 are already booked for us and I belive they are full, so any of the others should be available for you. They are really nice. You can check them out on the video's on their web site. Let me know where your site or cabin will be. Please put the word out to any other Ladies I would appreciate it.

WOW, would I have loved to do this, but since it is right after Spyderfest, don't think I will be able to make it. Keep us posted for next year. I usually try to plan my trips for the year early. Thanks for posting.

Looks like might have to change the time for next year if they have spyderfest at the same time every year. sorry

Spyderfest will be 4 years old thus year and is always held the last full week if April. A lot of us might be able to attend if not so close to another event. Thank you

Thx for letting me know that. I will talk to some of the Ladies and try to change the dates for next year so that you all might be able to attend then. Is there any other dates that I need to be aware of close to that time that are held at same time every year? Just dont want to do it when its beginning to get to hot.

Changing Location for campout.

We made a trip up to the outback campground yesterday and was suprized to see that it didnt look as good as it did on the website. So didnt feel comfertable leaving reservation there. So I cancelled it. I will be going in person today looking at a couple of other campgrounds that will be more suitable for all of us. Looks like maybe around Sam Rayburn area. I will post either today or at the most in a couple of days to update anyone. Please cancel your reservation if you or anyone you know has made a reservation. I'm so sorry fro inconvience. The date will sstay the same for this year.

UPDATE ON WHERE WE WILL BE CAMPING!

Just got an update from Cindy. Sorry for the inconvenience we got a cabin at Lake Sam Rayburn KOA. Cindy has cabin 6 rented and it looks way better than the other campground and new. They have lots of different size cabins also.

You might check out Koyote Ranch, Median TX. They have every kind of accommodations for bikers you can imagine, but is a far piece from east TX. They don't have much of a web sight www.koyoteranvh.com. Here is their numbers: 830-589-4695 or 800-225-0991. It might be a good location for next year.

Thx for the imput. I have stayed at Koyote ranch before. Trying not to get to far away from our area because of hubbies being able to come if there is a problem. And alot of the women work during the week so helps for them to be able to drive up for the evening to set up for the weekend. But great idea for when we get bigger group of women will deffently be looking for longer trips.

Have decided to cancel campout. Not getting any response. So think it would be better to just have a day ride. It will remain to be on May 4th 2013. I will post at later date on where and what time we will meet. Hope this will be better for everyone to be able to make it. Hope to hear from ya'll thx

We will meet at Walmart parking lot in Jasper Texas May the 4th @ 10:00 am. From there we will take a ride up towards the Lake area and have lunch. Then take a senic ride back to Jasper stop get a drink or maybe ice cream and visit then head home from there. Please RSVP me to let me know if you can make it so I can get idea how many. Depending who is all coming we will leave out around 10:15 am. thx Hope this will work out better for all you ladies. Hope to see you there.

I havent had anyone that has commeted to going on May the 4th for the day ride. If no one rsvp me i 'm not going to meet and the day ride will be cancelled. Please If you plan on coming please rsvp me or you can call me at 409-679-4310
before May the 2nd. Or it will be cancelled by the 3rd of May. Sorry Cindy
