• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Trailer to Goldwing Harness Needed

I saw a post on here somewhere. Somebody had posted how to get a harness or how to get from Spyder Can-am trailer to a Honda Goldwing....I am trying to get my trailer wired to also go to my wing...

I saw that one in Catalog...I need a 4 pin plug square to fit my other trailers

I was hoping I could find one already made up, but I may have to purchase from VRP and cut the end off, so it will fit my other bikes/trailers

I would tap into the existing trailer harness to add an additional square-4, which you can purchase at an auto parts store or the trailer shop very inexpensively. That way you have the best of both worlds...the trailer can then be used with either Spyder or Goldwing, and no adapter is needed. The RT-622 is already compatible with 4-wire systems, although the 2010 version's separate turn signals will no longer function with 4-wire, the brake lights take over that function. I have equipped my Aspen Sentry in that manner. Just tie the connector you are not using out of the way. It pays to protect it from the weather. I use a ziploc bag and a rubber band to cover the extra plug.
