• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lamonster, how did you mount the Zumo? I can see you used bolted the mount to the bar, did yo have to disassemble them and drill thru the back piece?

I have a SE5. Was there something to mount it to on the clutch reservoir?

Thanks for any info you can share.

Greg

Mounted my Zumo yesterday, Foam grips, 2 brothers exhaust, belt tensioner, backrest, wrapped pipes, heats shield on the left inner panel, removed the rear fender and added the rear spoiler with centerlight, 2010 RT front shocks, highway pegs on the way, about done.DSC00248.jpgDSC00244.jpgDSC00197.jpgDSC00243.jpg

Capt Jim, Was there much involved in mounting the ram mount? Windshield removal? Dash removal? I've been looking the Spyder over for a good solid place to mount my Zumo.

How do you like the sound of the Two Brothers Exhaust?
It's not very loud with the Cat, just a nice rumble. The same one on my GS is much louder than just the Cat
itself on the ST with no pipe at all, I cranked it up for a second just to see. And not much air either, the Cat may have to go eventually, it will never end.

It was not too bad even though it did take me 4 hours. The windshield, gauge cluster bezel and the piece where the safety card goes through were removed. It is very sturdy, the longer arm may work better, I used the short one and had to grind a little on the short arm so the shaft with the ball had a little more side movement. I put an aluminum backing plate under neath, the same size as the ram mount. I hated to start drilling through the top of my dash, I kept thinking I would just put it between the handlebars, but I really wanted it up where I could see it and was glad I went through the effort.DSC00242.jpg
