• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Wonder if Cuba is second guessing their actions now? They had a great thing and got greedy. To bad. :lecturef_smilie:

Am I missing something here? :dontknow: I haven't heard anything about Cuba getting "greedy" and it being the reason Spyderfest was moved to a different location.

this all sounds wonderful...the roads in the area are the best...can't wait to ride them with the new...Pitbull Powersports ST-Limited

I never heard this either and had 2 great trips to SpyderFests in Cuba. I will miss visiting Cuba, and Cowtown, this year, and for sure will miss the LadyBug RV park.

Looking forward to riding them with you, as well as you ryding your new ride!

I think Havasa might have only miss spoke a bit what he may have meant wasn't greedy, MOGANG just didn't have a lot of town involvement or financial support. Cuba was my home town, not upset with them at all. In fact they are wishing us very well, as we are them.

We are very excited about having a community like Ozark behind us, that is happy about the event as well as wanting to be part of it, and throwing a lot of community support and helping support the MOGANG ! Which will make the event a lot easier to put on, and is a very charming town. You have no idea how good this feels! We are excited for THE NEW ADVENTURE :yes::clap:

I just put on a new rear tire and an air filter so I'm ready to go. I can't wait for the party to start and to check out Ozark and Springfield and Pitbull Powersports

Way to go Len:yes: You have definitely picked the right area for us and Spyderfest. We will have many, many years of great events in Ozark, MO:clap::clap::dg1::dg1::dg2:

:agree: Sounds like they really want SpyderFest there! Way to go!

Spyderfest questions???

I have a couple questions about registering.
1. What if anything do I get for the $50.
2. Does my wife or girlfriend have to register too?
3. Is there a reason to preregister verses at the paying at the gate?

What you get for the $50 is probably one of the best times of your life and a lot of great memories, great planned rides, plus in the past, there were four meals provided, t shirts, goodie bag, etc.
#2 You probably ought to register both of them :roflblack: (yes, each person should register they will get what I listed above)
#3 they would perfer that you preregister so they can plan on providing the above. The down side is if you would have to cancel, there is no refund of your registration fee, but the shirt, goodie bag will be mailed to you.
Hope to see you there.

Ok gang!
I had another round of meetings with some folks in the Ozarks..... I though spyderlovers were excited but we have nothing on them!!!
Talk about Rolling out the red carpet for us, I'm not use to a city that's this proactive! They are opening up there hearts and entire city to us!

Bonfires in town, police escorts and traffic help, setting up a parade through the town square, allowing us to use the park at no charge, and helping us with the fire works, the mayor is coming out to the event to meet you all, there helping promote the event with TV and radio aswell as there newspapers.....along with helping setup special passport routs and welcome signs..... Speaking of welcome signs, the City is buy a welcome rider sign to help welcome you guys! How cool is that!

I knew moving the event to the ozarks would get us more support, and a better location, but had no idea this much! Their even reading and watching the forms WOW! The spyderfest kick off night is going to be one of our best yet, this is a charming little town with a lot to offer!
We will keep you posted as things move forward! And pics of the locations!
Thanks for coming out and being part of this years event and "THE NEW ADVENTURE" begins

Tell them on the 23, look out for us we are coming 20, or 30 deep

Darlene and I can't say enough about how happy we are for you and your new adventure. We are looking forward to Spyderfest and hooking up with you and riding our Pearl White RT Limited, pulling the 622 trailer, purchased from Pitbull Powersports. Way to go Len, and we wish you the best.

Len, no mention of the fire department support :gaah:............will we be needing to keep some pizza's on hand for bribes, just in case :dontknow:. You know we have "ruffeled a few feathers" in the past.:roflblack:

Cant wait to see the agenda.

Looking forward to the third Spyderfest. Can't wait to see the agenda for the weekend rides and activities. Len, I said this before but that drivein and pie run was the best! Hope you and the MoGang have some things planed for the evenings. :clap:But we have never been disappointed before so game on! What a great job you and the Gang do.

It will be the best $100 that you've spent in a long time. You will not regret it. I don't think you will find a single person who has been disappointed in what they received for their registration fee in low, these many years.

Just read through all the rave reviews here and on other threads. You can't go wrong...

Thats what they thought about Woodstock too, and the Spyder folks can get a much crazier than they did.

I'll let them know!
And we will have fire department support:thumbup:
thanks so much Harley, you and Darlene are the best, really means a lot.

As far as costs go for the event, We try to keep costs as low as possible, and get support from vendors and as well PITBULL POWERSPORTS.
To have enough to pull it off, between locations and food, drinks and banners, maps booklets, signs, tents, tables and chairs, entertainment, prizes, trophies, ice, coolers, restrooms, website and goodies its well over a 50,000.00 party with full volunteer staff.
we love what we do if, not, there would be no party. The math never add up, but some how we always get the bills paid, you all are very generous and help us make it work.

This is incredible----

This will be our FIRST SpyderFEST and am excited to meet other people and to be a participant in the first ever in the new location. I can't believe how this town is so open-armed and welcoming to all of us. It truly makes us feel like we are "SOMEONE" and "Some Special People"! :opps:

It will be an incredible experience.

Len, we are so blessed by you and are really happy we chose to get our new ride through you. Thanks for all you do. Keep us posted on your new shop and all please!

Reid
