• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OK. So I am thinking about going. Anyone know how many days it takes to get from Eastern NC to Ozark, MO? Anyone from Eastern NC Going?

We went from Albuquerque, NM to East Tennessee in about 1 day, 1400 + miles. So you should be able to make the 1000 or so miles to Ozark in a day.... One VERY Tough Day! :roflblack:

It's 1000 miles from Northern Virginia to Ozark. I'm anew owner and ryder. No way I'm doing an "Iron Butt" run. Hopefully we will be able to round up some Virginians to ride together.

I was thinking 2 days as well. Maybe stop off in TN or the Charlotte area. Anyone from NC that would like to get a group together please let me know.

If I don't fell like riding that far in a day I like to do 750-800 miles and have a nice easy day riding in on the second day, that way you still feel fresh and up to doing something when you get there. That's just how I like to roll :doorag:

:agree: I concur with Lamont. Once you clear the mountains in Tenn., it should be easier riding. Then once you cross the Mississippi, you get some mountains again. Id think the terrain would make a difference.

Ok. So registration is complete and vacation time is put in. Since this will be my first Spyder Event I am excited.

am I reading the chart right and there is 0.8 coming from Canada? :yikes:

anyway we are in processing of cancelling (Jo-Anne can not get vacation from work) so no go... and cant just quit work (we have to find a way to fund the 2nd ST-S spyder for the garage )

so no Clueless or Reggie (golden doodle this year) at Spyderfest .... miss you guys but see ya in 2014 or maybe at the owners event where ever that is this year.

Sorry to hear you're not going to make it. Too bad. We'll try to have some fun anyway!

I am hoping the Canadian numbers pick up when they thaw out. Their keyboards are probably frozen this time of year.....

Be sure to check the NC Forum or any other state close by or that you would go through. Many of the riders are posting in their state forum and planning on pick ups along the way
