There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyderfest is a locally organized event held the 3rd weekend of April, organized by MoGang with a lot of support, help and love from Cowtown USA, Cuba, MO. At this time the dates have been set but location is still being finalized. Follow Spyderfest at www.spyderfest.com For those that have never been, it's a "must do" for the Spyder ryder. Great gathering of wonderful people, all out to help one another and in the past (3 years) it has always been in Cuba, MO (a town that welcomes you with open arms). Here's hoping Sypderfest 2013 is again in Cuba, MO.
The Owner's Event is a function created and supported by BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products). This event location moves around each year to provide new ryding experiences and opportunities for others to enjoy without having to ryde so far each year. This event is usually held in July. Both Spyderfest (last week of April) and the BRP Owners Event (late June) are a lot of fun to attend. They are totally different events, both with lots of camaraderie, fun, good food, riding and fellowship. The first Owners Events tended to be in/near large cities, but the last two have been in Maggie Valley (2011) and Durango (2012). BRP has learned we all prefer to be in locations with great riding, scenery, etc rather than a big city. Registration is free; you sign up by sending in your VIN. Spyderfest (organized by the MOGang and Cowtown) has been held in Cuba MO the past 3 years but location is TBA for 2014. Cuba is a small town and attendees are overflowing into nearby towns as the numbers have increased exponentially. Other Spyder events include Spyders in the Redwoods (early Aug), Spyders in the Adirondacks (same time), SpyderfestMagog (in Quebec...completely in French), Lamont's BBQ, etc, etc....WORK tends to get in the way of having Spyder fun, unless you are lucky enough to be retired! Which we are! :yes::yes:
